We do not have any products formulated specifically for infants or children. All of our products contain organic essential oils which possibly could be too aromatic or too active for young skin and hair. We list all of our ingredients on our website and packaging. If you have any concerns about specific ingredients or would like to bring the ingredient list to your pediatrician for approval, that information is easily available.

Regrettably, we do not offer hair color at this time. While there is no "safe" aniline hair color on the market, we are constantly looking for cleaner options. After researching on what's available now, Schwarzkopf Essensity and Mastey Haircolor are the best options.

SPF is recommended as part of your daily skin care regimen no matter what other products you are using. Intelligent Nutrients does not currently offer a sunscreen due to the limited performance delivered by more naturally based titanium and zinc based FDA allowed ingredients and preference not to use the chemically based ingredients. We recommend a sunscreen that is a fit with your personal ingredient and performance philosophy.

There is a potential that during the coldest climates and coldest months of the year certain products may freeze during shipment. As it warms the product returns to its original state. Performance and function is not affected. This is an expected and planned for phenomenon. As a result it is generally standard operating procedure to conduct freeze/thaw tests as part of a product stability analyses before it is brought to market. You may at times see particles which are generally oils, waxes, flavors etc. that have solidified which are the last to reacclimatize themselves into the formula. Please allow product to warm at room temperature and shake vigorously to help the small solids liquify back into the formula. If you experience any issues in this phenomenon, please feel free to reach out to customer service for replacement and/or resolution options.

Our shampoos are formulated without chemical surfactants and sulfates—the suds-producing additives common to most shampoos. They aren’t necessary for cleaning. We’ve skipped the overabundance of lather, not the benefits or the cleansing power.

Our products have a 3 year shelf life from date of manufacture when stored in normal temperature appropriate environments (x-x degrees). In addition, most products have a 6-12 month period after opening life. Look for the PAO featured on every package with the expected # of months. Although our products are tested to withstand a wide range of temperature from hot to cold for longevity they should be stored in a temperature controlled environment when possible. Some extreme environments may cause products to melt or freeze.
